Making EVE ISK is no easy thing, yet without enough ISK, there is only so much you can do in the game. EVE Online is build around the use of ISK to get anywhere decent in the game.
For newbies, making adequate EVE ISK to get started is one of the greatest obstacles. For anyone just starting out, it's rather likely that would need to give up the chance to make more ores in the low security areas until they have been able to save enough for an improved ship and equipment to avoid getting podded over and over again.
For the more advance players, dying is something they can easily sacrifice in order to mine all the ISK they need. For areas with low security, anyone who proceeds to mine there must have either blind braveness or in much need for money. Other than that, it'll require a high level of preparation and planning before going forth into those dangerous areas.
So why to gamers persist to pursue low security areas regardless of the dangers? The obvious answer is that those area have much better returns. The stations at low security areas will provide you with higher pay than other high security areas. One thing to keep in mind is that although the returns are significantly higher, there are hidden cost. You will need to share the returns from mining with the people running the security in that region. Here is where solo mining becomes an alluring option. The drawback, quite obviously is that there will be no one to rely on if you get into any trouble.
Mining in groups is the preferred option. You'll find that gamers who mine in groups will have clear roles split between each member and they tend to be very successful. The best bet for new miners is to join up with these groups.
With all of that said, mining in EVE Online is rather risky and have left many gamers lost as to what would be the next best step to take. Like many other largely played MMORPGs, a large group of gamers resort to buying EVE ISK from online gold sellers. Although that is deemed unethical by a group of gamers, gold sellers continue to prevail and EVE ISK are being sold by a great many shops.
